The hospital achieved remarkable success in scientific research, garnering 172 awards for scientific research achievements at the provincial, ministerial, and national levels, including 2 Second Prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 National Innovation Award, 2 First Prizes of the Ministry of Education Science and Technology Progress Award, 2 First Prizes of the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, 2 Chongqing Science and Technology Outstanding Contribution Awards, 8 First Prizes of the Chongqing Science and Technology Progress Award, and 3 First Prizes of the Chongqing Natural Science Award.

The hospital holds 421 academic positions in national medical societies and associations with 15 individuals serving as deputy directors or higher in the secondary branches of the Chinese Medical Association and the Chinese Medical Doctor Association. Additionally, 80 individuals hold positions chairperson or vice-chairperson roles in the Chongqing Medical Association, and 59 individuals serve as president or vice-president in the Chongqing Medical Doctor Association.
